Vappu-day parade

We had traditional Vappu-day parade and here is few videos and pictures.

Refreshed oil pan

I decieded to remove oil pan for cleaning and repaint and changed the gasket at the same. There was almost 1cm of dirt in the pan! Luckily that dirt coat has keep the rust off. Also old gasket had leaked oil, this solved that problem. Did compression test to engine and for my suprise, all the cylinders topped to 150 psi! Nice!

Waiting for the Sun

Got some parts while waiting for that darned spring to finally kickstart. I got "new" motor antenna wich im gonna restore, antenna is OK but gearwheel etc is stuck so it wont lift the antenna. Left one is the "new" one, i buffed it a little so it actually looks good. Right one came with the car and im not sure is it even original Nissan part..? Both work electrically, i've tested it. Right one is missing its mast, some turd has snapped it half. What the hell do you do with half cutted telescopic radio mast anyway?? I also dismantled half of the interior, got new quarter panels and i have Dynamatted them, maybe it reduces noise.
