Spring fever rising

Oh boy. Sun is getting higher and higher every day and slight fever is starting to rise.
Things i still need to do:

-Get the floor welded (drivers side)
-Change brake shoes
-Attach front window properly
-Driver side window too (in this i need suggestions!!)
-Door panels on place (i need clips first to do that)
-Scuff plates (on the way from MSA)
-Sill plates (i got them in my home, polishing them when nothing else to do)
-Carpets ( haven't ordered them yet, gotta get more money)
-Attach quarter panels etc.
-Find a proper speaker and install it
-New antenna ( havent found yet..)
-Carburators tune up ( though they seem to be in decent tune, rear one is sucking a bit more than the front one but idles well )

1.4 is scheduled welding and brake shoe replace/bleed. Luckily i got experienced mechanic to do all of those.

It's moving!

As i mentioned before ( or do i?) im in rented garage. There is not much space to move around cause there is 2 other cars and 4 motorcycles. BUT i needed more space in drivers side so i decieded to move Z a bit.

After pumping manually fuel into fuel pump (it was dry as sahara) i started to crank the car. After 5 minutes it started to show some signs of life, first firing up only 1 cylinder (that was thunderous THUMP THUMP THUMP). I hit the pedal to the metal and after few coughs it started to sing the song of 6cylinder. Rear carb float was (and is still) a bit stuck but otherwise a nice and steady idle. Im always amazed that 38year old car starts up so easily. Datsun lasts, as the slogan says in Finnish D's.

I hadn't tighten clutch master cylinder hardline properly so the clutch slipped (and leaked fluid) and for a second i tought my Z had the mind of its own when started to move while clutch engaged! Well i didnt need to do anything cause Z moved itself and after 2 m (wich was the amount i needed it to move) engine stalled! There must be something magical about this car, like in the Herbie bug.

Im anxious to get to the first real test drive and feel the Z!
