After renovating the blower, i thought "what the heck" and dismantled half of the dash. Front panel is now off as are almost everything related to heating. There was ton of dirt and old tree leaves inside dash, i might as well put somekind of filter in there. Plan is to refurbish that worn old front panel and smoothen up the work of levers, they have been jammed by the crap. Chrome is in decent shape, actually this part is originally all chrome, black paint is just painted over. So it SHOULD be easy to fix..
Loosening up the levers for you heater and fan control will be nice.
VastaaPoistaYea, a "little" bit of penetrating oil does wonders. Now they actually move without deadly force :P Masking the panel will be fun... I dont want to paint over chrome.
